Leprosy is a still very prevalent in India, with 160,000 sufferers on
the streets of Mumbai alone. Newfrontiers’ churches are responding through a mobile clinic which allows primary medical care to be delivered to the many who have become outcasts because of Leprosy. These services include an enclosed shower unit providing dignity to these "untouchables". Mobile clinics are acknowledged to
be a very important method of bringing health care to the excluded Leprosy sufferers. These mobile clinics help provide a caring and effective service to the poorest and at the same time share the love of Christ.
