Kate Simmonds (Australia)

After a life-changing visit to the revival in Pensacola, Florida in 1997, Kate began leading worship at the Newfrontiers Stoneleigh Bible Weeks and other major Christian events such as Spring Harvest. Based for many years at Church of Christ the King, Brighton, UK; Kate, Miles, and son Matthew are now at Bridgeway Community Church, Sydney, Australia where they lead the worship team and are increasingly having an input into other Newfrontiers worship teams in the Pacific Region.
Evan Rogers (South-Africa)

Evan has been leading the congregation of Jubilee Community Church, Cape Town into the presence of God since 1990. A prolific songwriter and gifted musician, Evan has released numerous worship albums including The Evan Rogers Collection and No Other. Outside South Africa, he is best known for his songs ‘This is Where the Party is’ (on Chosen for the Nations), ‘The Greatest Day’ (on The Passion of God’s Son) and ‘Ecstatic Praise’ (on Power of the Cross). Evan is one of the few worship leaders who is able to combine different musical and cultural styles in a dynamic, joy-filled worship context. He is married to Tracy; they are both national triathletes and love living in South Africa with its unique opportunities and blend of cultures.

Phatfish (UK)

Phatfish are a band based at Church of Christ the King, Brighton, UK. Since their formation in 1994, Phatfish have been committed to writing, playing and recording songs that draw people to worship our amazing God. As well as leading worship and performing in their own right, Phatfish are also regularly called upon to work alongside worship leaders such as Stuart Townend, Kate Simmonds and Matt Redman.

Simon Brading started leading worship at the age of ten in his Sunday School at Kings Church Hastings, UK where he grew up. At thirteen, he moved with his family to the Coign Church in Woking and started to lead worship in the youth group. More recently, he has led at Newfrontiers events such as Newday and Mobilise. Simon is now based in Brighton and heads up the worship team at CCK.
