A new plan is afoot to start a church which not only aims to reach the immediate area, but also has a County focus. Lincolnshire is one of the largest counties in the UK, with many people needing to hear the gospel. With this in mind, Anthony and Gill Henson are moving from their current base in Stoke-on-Trent to Lincoln to lead this venture.

The church will be started in January 2008 and once established, Grace Church Lincoln will be crucial in opening up opportunities to plant further churches in Lincolnshire. Lincoln is a major centre for the county and beyond, with a growing and vibrant University. Being quite central, Lincolnshire is accessible to most parts of the UK, there is a good mix of rural and commercial business, and house prices are not too expensive either!

A handful of people from across the region are already planning to join Anthony and Gill to launch this new church. If you are interested in being part of this exciting and strategic church plant, please do come along to the Lincoln Day. This is being held in Lincoln on 7 July 2007 and is open to anyone who would like to find out more. If you would like more details about the church plant or about the Lincoln Day, please email Anthony Henson.
