Amazing healings and feedback from Front

Edge South

In our June edition of E*news, we reported healing testimonies from Front Edge North. Front Edge South in May saw similar success with both healings and salvations. 547 people attended the conference on the Saturday, which envisioned and equipped those who felt a specific evangelistic burden. 53 churches then followed the conference with a guest service the next day. A visiting evangelist preached the gospel and prayed for the sick in each place.

Churches reported that 168 people responded to the gospel and over a hundred people confirmed healings during the guest services.

Two testimonies of healing are reported here. Let’s rejoice in what God is doing through Front Edge and praise him for his faithfulness to save and to heal!

Michael Wattanobbi
, from Australia, was visiting Church of Christ the King, Brighton, on the morning of the Front Edge guest service. Adrian Holloway (ChristChurch London) was the visiting speaker and he describes what happened.

‘Michael responded for healing after the worship. He explained that he had suffered from an industrial accident nine years previously. He had been hit on the shoulder by a brick elevator which fell from a height of six feet. This resulted in a shattered anterior cruciate joint. Keyhole surgery took place and the surgeon removed half an inch of bone from the joint. After 18 months of surgery, Michael was told he would only have 60 per cent use of his arm. Since the accident his arm has clicked and hurt everyday and he was unable to lift his arm above head height.’

On Front Edge Sunday, after prayer for healing, Michael lifted his arm straight above his head, for the first time in nine years!

There were four other people who testified to being healed on that Sunday morning and 12 others responded to the gospel! Praise God!

Sandy Rawson
was baptised at the Beacon Church Herne Bay on Sunday 29 July. She visited the church after receiving a flyer through her door during the week before Front Edge.

She decided to go along to the meeting and sat at the back. When Kevin Bartlett, the visiting evangelist, invited people to receive healing, she placed her hand on the back of her neck.  She felt a tingling in her spine and soon realised that the pain had gone! Sandy had suffered from spondylosis of the spine for ten years, and since that time she has not needed her pain relief, nor has she needed antidepressant medication or asthma medication – she was instantly healed of all these, and gave her life to Jesus that morning!

Sandy describes her life before becoming a Christian as ‘ok’, ‘an ordinary housewife doing ordinary things’. On the day of her baptism she said ‘Thank you Lord God for saving me and giving me everlasting life. I give my life to you Lord and in obedience I am being baptised’.
