Healing and Restoration in the North

Emily Levermore - Leeds
‘Last year, I began getting bad stomach upsets and was in a lot of pain during mealtimes. I seemed to be experiencing the symptoms of a food allergy, so I cut out all dairy and then gluten which helped but did not eradicate the symptoms.  After one rather miserable week of being quite ill, I went to church on Sunday morning and during the worship a lady came to the front and told us how God had specifically spoken to her about an intestinal problem which was causing a lot of pain and discomfort and that God didn't want the person to live with it anymore. I knew straight away that God was speaking to me and I went forward for prayer. As I was being prayed for, I felt like a weight was lifted from me; it was a great feeling and I just knew I'd been healed. That afternoon, a friend encouraged me to eat whatever I wanted so I did! I ate all the things I knew would normally not be good for me and was absolutely fine! Praise God!’

‘During Front Edge North there was a word of knowledge that God wanted to heal someone suffering with stomach acidity, which was much worse than indigestion. I believed it was for me. I had been suffering with this problem for over 20 years, but had learnt to live with it. I thought I'd wait a month or so before I said anything, but I’ve had no chronic acidity since then. I've had one bout of ‘normal’ indigestion! All the things that would normally cause me a problem I've now eaten without any difficulties. I've not taken any anti-acidity tablets since that day.’

Kathy Lightfoot - Teesside
Kathy was healed when Lex Loizides visited Teesside during the Front Edge North weekend. She had fallen whilst ice skating in February and hurt her coccyx which resulted in lots of pain. When she received prayer she felt warmth in her back and the pain left instantly.

Margaret Wade - Darlington
‘During a healing service there was a call for those with diabetes to come forward for prayer. I obeyed that call and Jesus touched me with his healing hands. Later that month at my diabetic testing clinic, every test I was given was perfectly balanced and has been ever since.  Praise the Lord! What a wonderful, faithful Lord we worship and serve! Two other people with marginal diabetes were also healed that morning.’
‘M’ - Newcastle
‘M’ was born in South Iran into a strict Muslim family and became a Christian on a recent Alpha course. At Front Edge Sunday in Newcastle she was prayed for and immediately experienced a 'popping' in one of her ears. She had only 30% hearing in that ear but was suddenly aware that the sound she was now hearing had increased dramatically. Praise God for this restoration!

Jenny Hughes - Darlington
‘I started attending Kings Church Darlington in November 2006 as my son Luke wanted to come along with his friend Sam. I joined the Alpha Course to find out more about becoming a Christian and a few weeks into the course I became a Christian. On Sunday 4 March, towards the end of the church service there was a call for prayer for healing.  I asked that my family be helped in their grief over a recent bereavement and I also asked for help regarding a cyst that had been growing on my left ovary for the last two years.

The next day I went for my fourth ultrasound scan and was told that the cyst was gone! I was very surprised but delighted that our God heals!’
