There are many recent wonderful testimonies of God’s goodness in our churches around the UK.  A few of these stories are shared here.

Healing testimony from Edinburgh

Schedel Luitjen was healed during the Front Edge Sunday in February.  He describes what happened;
 
'Roughly two years ago I lost the ability to smell, and with it the ability to taste. I could still smell some things, and I could still taste predominantly bitter flavours, but the rest was very muted, as though I were smelling and tasting in black-and-white.
 
A friend prayed over me and laid on hands. Moments later I felt an odd sensation in my nose, like a pressure-change, and my sense of smell had returned by the end of the service! Still a bit unsure, I tried one of the strawberry-filled doughnuts at the back, and it is difficult to say just how amazing it was! Both senses have been restored, and I thank God every time I eat a meal!’

Lincoln church plant

The church plant into Lincoln was started in July 2007.  They have been meeting together on a Sunday since January with a core team of 20, and are gathering an average of 50 each week.  Anthony and Gill Henson moved from Stoke on Trent to lead this plant, and continue to pioneer into new places. Let us thank God for what He is doing in Lincoln, and pray that they would see much growth in the coming days.
